EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Many of us know of a child that whenever something “bad” happens in the area, they are the first one that comes to our mind to have done it or to blame.
Do we continue allowing that child to possess the bad behavior and take ownership of it or do we step in and correct them so they change their behavior?
Don’t quit! Don’t give up on bad behavior. It’s easy to throw up our hands and walk away from something that is an overwhelming task. God never gives up on us. His Word councils us to keep going.
If this speaks in any way, please take heart. It could be something totally different… the bad child maybe you. You may make wrong choice after wrong choice resulting in severe consequences inside your life. You wish to stop the pattern but can’t seem to get the strength to stop. Whatever the situation, God is always working on us and those around us. God wants us to learn from our wrong or bad behaviors. Don’t quit! Don’t give up.
“Therefore we do not lose heart…Our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory.
…What is seen is temporary,  but what is unseen is eternal. ( 2 Corinthians 4:16-18)
We must constantly learn from God through our troubles for our eternal good.
Ask the Lord to reveal the lessons He wants to be learned in any situation you are faced with, whether it be the bad child or the adult (like us) who may be making wrong choices. God may be trying to teach us through VERY difficult situations and when something happens as a result of bad behavior.
Life is about lessons learned and becoming better. Continue improving your daily walk with Jesus and reading The Word of God. The lessons to learn will be revealed there.
I’ve learned I can not quit every time I make a mistake and I most definitely make them. I look at the result of a wrong choice I make, apply the lesson from the word of God, confess it and then try harder for the future to not make that mistake ever again. God knows my heart. God does not want me to lose confidence but to look to Him and learn from the agonies of my fleshly behavior that is sinful.
“A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold. (Proverbs 22:1)
“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”  ( Romans 3:23)
Oh how God wants your name to be good. Allow Him access to cleanse you, purify you daily as you confess the wrong, and learn from His Word how to do better.
