EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
There are many things we can do to hold fast when the storms hit. I choose to be alone and quiet with God. Rarely do I ask for the opinions of others during these times, but that’s just me. I go right to the source for my answers: God’s Word.
When you battle despair, disillusionment, and unbelief, you may feel pulled towards the world and what it offers to you. People may try to sway you and things may distract you, but don’t let go of what you know to be true. Anchor your soul to the promises of God.
Don’t be so quick to look for shortcuts that veer you away from the storm. Be willing to face the storm with God’s best for you. How will you know what that is?
Don’t listen to the voice of the enemy when God seems to be silent. Let the anchor of your soul tighten your grip and allow Him to see you through the storm. Remember, when you stand upon the very word of God, He backs His promises with the honor of His name. He is your Anchor. Humble yourself and do the work of sorting through your obstacles. God will give you the strength to endure… Remember in the darkness what God told you in the light.
“I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.”  (Psalm 27:3)
Believe-faith-trust.
Anchor your soul.  Remember, we may lose sight of God, but He never loses sight of us.
