EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
We sometimes cannot see the end of things from the middle, and we must walk by faith, not by sight. The Lord will bring a greater good, His perfect plan, out of all the frustration we feel and out of all the evil we experience. Be still and hold on to your faith.
“He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity in the human heart, yet so that no one can find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.” (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
When all is said and done, God uses even the scary happenings to fulfill His promises to us. He reveals Himself good. God is present in every scene and in the movement of every event, until He ultimately and finally brings everything to a marvelous climax as He proves Himself Lord of His people who know Him and those who don’t.
We can see His hand in our daily walk if we look for it to be there. I just saw this recently with major rains that affected our river last month. We watched the flood waters rise near our home to overflowing at the riverbanks. God kept the waters a foot from touching our home. The waters raged and had us on edge for over 2 days, but we prayed and trusted.
In the end, we were left with a new addition and no damage overall. A gigantic tree had torpedoed its way down the river at a warped speed at its peak, leaving the tree coming to a complete halt as it lodged in the rocks of our waterfall. For the good… we now get to admire God’s creation of this mammoth tree centered right smack in the middle of our river. And now watch the sweet new family of ducks that have come and are now nesting inside its root-ball: God’s creation everywhere and all for good.
God is invisibly at work, in the little things and making even life’s greatest disappointments and life’s tragedies to be just a link in a chain of good things yet to come. Trust Him!
God makes everything beautiful in His time. In His way, He causes everything to work together for good. Romans 8:28!
