VOICE OF TRUTH FOR TODAY
Blown Off Course

Life has a way of shifting suddenly—like a storm you didn’t see coming.
One moment, everything feels planned and certain. The next, you’re thrown off course, unsure of where you’re headed or why things changed.
It can feel disorienting… even overwhelming.
But sometimes, what feels like disruption is actually divine direction.

Just like a flamingo caught in hurricane winds, we may find ourselves in places we never intended to be. Yet even there, God is still at work—guiding, protecting, and restoring.

“For I know the plans I have for you… plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV).

When life feels chaotic, it’s easy to lose peace. But Scripture reminds us that we can stand firm—even in the storm.

“Do not be anxious about anything… and the peace of God… will guard your hearts” (Philippians 4:6–7 NIV).

God doesn’t promise we won’t face storms. But He does promise to go before us, to be with us, and to never leave us.
So if you feel off course today, take heart.
God hasn’t lost sight of you.
He knows exactly where you are.
And He is still leading you—right where you need to be.
