I picked up a bible word search that I have been using to start my quiet time each day. It’s a great tool I have been using to wake up my brain before diving into the Word and my devotion for the day.
I can finish this word search in less than 5 minutes. I look at the word, and it pops right off the page. It’s the most fascinating thing I have ever experienced.
Through this practice, the Lord has been teaching me- that what you focus on, you will see. What you focus on, you will find.
I am not a skilled “word searcher,” which makes me fast at it. I am focused, and what I focus on, I will find.
Beautiful daughter, I ask you today…What are you focused on? What is your gaze fixed on? What is your mind stayed on? If our minds are fixed on life-we will see and experience life! If we are fixed on darkness, we will see and experience darkness.
Philippians 4:8 tells us, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things.”
Today, let us fix our eyes on what is true, what is noble, and what is right, etc…
Colossians 3:2 tells us to: “Set your mind on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.”
If we want to see God and see His goodness, we have to keep our gaze on those things!
Isaiah 26:3 tells us, “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you because he trusts in you.”
Let’s go into our day with our minds fixed on the truth of God and His word!
