EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
As your children leave home and go into this world on their own, your prayers for them should never stop. They need to be remembered in prayer every day.
I have found my prayers for my children have actually increased these years! I pray daily and even multiple times throughout the day for all my children.
Prayer is a way to influence your child. Prayer is a weapon to battle the challenges of the enemy’s interference in their lives.
When I found out one of my daughters was pregnant, I asked if her I could please pray with her every day throughout the pregnancy of her baby. (5 minutes of daily prayer can influence a child’s heart!❤)
I had the confidence God would work through prayer for my daughter as well as my grandchild growing inside her womb. Long story short, I asked her if I could pray with her each and every day for 5 minutes at the same time each morning, and we’d do this over her entire pregnancy for her and the baby growing.
She agreed to do this, and we began. I prayed with her faithfully without missing a day for the first five months straight, never letting a single day go without prayer!
Although things changed near the end of the pregnancy, I know God will use those prayers spoken over her in the time I had with her.
I continue today to hold on to the fact that God heard every word prayed to Him back then. Unfortunately, something in her life had changed, and there was no longer any communication. Although my heart has broken (still not understanding any of the whys of it), I can trust God and be assured that the influence through prayer will spark her heart at times I can not. May the scripture God allowed me to speak through prayers with my daughter remain. God promises His Word will never return void.
That is where faith comes in as a mother. I must walk by faith and not by sight! …and keep going.
(2 Cor.5:7)
Children are still your children despite what we see happening in the “now.” Despite how the enemy chooses to minimize what we’ve done with them in the past, the devil loses! GOD WINS. God is faithful. So whatever ever is happening right now in my daughters’ lives, I can not take my eyes off God. I still believe those prayers I prayed will have an impact on their lives, even in the void of a relationship with two of them, and even if I don’t see it happening! (I trust God that it is!)
I miss my two daughters, who stopped communication, but I trust God in what I can not see.
God continues to blow my mind in how He answers prayers, though. 🙏 He returns what the enemy steals. I can rejoice in the now over what God is doing exceedingly abundantly beyond what I could ever imagine. He continues to work faithfully even when and if I can not see.
Your prayers will have an impact on your children’s life! Do not discount it! Do not stop! Tell God everything you have on your heart and how you’d like to see Him move in your children’s lives. Please do this every day, ladies! I don’t stop, despite what the enemy shouts at me at times.
