EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
We must submit reverently and completely to God. By doing this, we also accept His discipline when it comes. If we learn from His instruction through our trials, we can then share the lessons we grow from.
Being disciplined and learning through trials allows us to share in God’s holiness. I learned this truth as I read His scriptures after I confessed and gave Him my true repentive heart. I then transformed my mind and sought scriptures, deeper and deeper, to bring about the changes I needed.
What do you know of that would be pleasing to God to do for your own life? Of the wise instruction He directs you to, what are you going to do with it?
We all need to learn His Word each day, transform our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus and then submit to the Holy Spirit’s direction in us.
“Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.” (James 4:10)
When we can pattern ourselves after Christ’s example out of reverence for Him, it shows a sincere expression of devotion to God. Can you think of any other way to behave yourself?
Humble your spirits and minds and be an example of humility. This is pleasing to God.
Today, may we each be encouraged to commit and trust everything to God and have a mindset that exhales Him in everything we do.
