EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Years ago, I went through a refining period in my life. God brought me through a painful yet necessary cleansing.
In my place of loneliness and delay, I learned obedience. The Lord taught me about purity of heart, kingdom motivation, and serving with excellence, plus the importance of a healthy attitude. It was there that I thrived. I learned to trust God in that place.
Are you in a place where it’s stretching you? Please “be still” in that place and learn to thrive where you are with God. It may be here that He wants you to stay for a period before you are elevated to the next place.
After a time, God released me from that place, and as I look back, I want to encourage you with this…”I would not trade that time for anything, not even my life, because it gave me the life I now live for Christ!” God does more than we can imagine during times of refining. The times we may not understand or comprehend, but He knows what’s best.
“God has had it with the proud but takes delight in just plain people. So be content with who you are and where you are, and don’t put on airs or be discouraged with delays. God’s strong hand is on you; He will promote you at the right time. Live carefree before God; He is most careful with you.”
