Did you know that God searches your heart? He does this because if we need any type of change to occur in our lives, or need to gain a new perspective, or need to be purified, or even taught humility, He can help us by searching us.
God doesn’t want to torture us. He wants to purify us. I believe He wants to purify us so that we will be with Him one day in heaven. We are His creation, and He loves us. He is always working on us. This just brought to my mind a song I would sing to my children from back in the 90s, “He’s still working on me to make me what I outta be.” 🎶 🎶 🎵 it took Him just a week to make the earth and stars, sun and moon, and Jupiter and Mars…
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.” (Matthew 5:8)
If you are feeling that God is working on you or testing you right now, testing your faith or even allowing you to go through a struggle to build your faith, you may not understand that He really could be stretching you.
“Consider a pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.” (James 1:2-3)
A time of testing is God’s way of preparing you for the greater things He has ahead. There is so much we can not see and we just need to TRUST. Ask Him to help you learn your lesson well and trust Him even during the most difficult times of testing.
