EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
God’s Word is alive.  The Lord brings such great joy through it, and each day I get to read His Word is a day I’m filled with more of God’s tremendous truths for me.
God’s Word also gives me so much to write about. What I learn as I see scriptures that relate to my day-to-day life are life lessons to me. The scriptures contain power, strength, reproof, love, and joys that are all worth sharing.
Study His Holy manual of life!
We can learn everything we are supposed to learn just by reading God’s word. He tells us to “study” to show ourselves approved. Have you studied God’s word lately and really get down deep into the words within each verse?
“Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not  be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15)
As we study God’s Word each day, let us remember “obedience” is key in our daily walk with Him. Being obedient allows me to write confidently and share God openly and freely to anyone I speak with. I’m free in knowing my sins are confessed daily and that I can be clean before Him for what He calls me to do and when He calls me to do it.
“If anyone loves me, he will keep my word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to Him and make Our home with him.” (John 14:23)
I most definitely want God to be present inside my home, in my heart, and I want Him to be with me everywhere I go each day.  I want to do all the right moves before Him. I can’t take the right actions if I don’t know what those are, so I must read His Word daily to find out what my manual from God is saying to me.
Obedience is something I do, but I have to pray and ask God to help me to be diligent about obeying my Lord and Savior. I keep it ever before me in prayer. Sometimes it’s difficult; I’m not telling you it’s always easy. But God hears our prayer heart, and He helps us!
If we pray about what we’re supposed to be doing, God will enable us to be disciplined enough to do it. Watch and see Him work in you when you ask Him to by praying.
“Whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in Him. By this we know that we are in Him.” (1 John 2:5)
“Blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it.” (Luke 11:28)
May God enable you today to dwell in confidence and peace, knowing you’ve asked Him to help you study His word and be obedient to it.
