EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Every day that we live, we should be communicating Christ in our everyday life.
As we abide in our Savior and build relationships with unbelievers, we need to learn how to effectively communicate Jesus and the Holy Spirit, who help us each day to others who need hope.
Each morning, as I go on my walk, one of the things I pray for is that God would give me wisdom. I pray that I would hear from the Holy Spirit of how to minister to people in each day and I pray for lives to love on, and impact as I meet people on my walk throughout each day.
Do you realize that it is only the spirit of God who enables us to carry on the redemption mission of evangelism each day? When I watch The Chosen episodes, I see how Jesus led others by example in His early ministry.
With the cooperation of the spirit of the Lord in us, we can lead by example to unbelievers who are watching our lives. Isaiah 61:1 says that it was by the anointing of the Spirit that Jesus preached the gospel to the poor, healed the brokenhearted, opened eyes of the blind, delivered the captives, and cast out demons.
Jesus told His disciples not to worry if they were arrested for their faith. “Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.” God promised His Holy Spirit would illuminate the truth.
We can and should be communicating Jesus Christ as we move about in the world each day we live. Read Mark 13 when you have time and see how the disciples learned a natural way to communicate to others. Share common experiences, share interests, share vulnerable stories of your life. The Holy Spirit will give you content when you speak. Trust Him and start sharing and communicating God with the world.
