Tossed about by things you can’t control are words of echo for so many sisters. Facing things that you can not fix and then becoming overwhelmed by them is futile.
How many of us face challenges every day that we try to control by ourselves, and because we can not control them, we bury them behind something else?
There is One Person who can return peace to your every anxious thought. God reminds us of His promises and His peace that is upon us when we TRUST in Him. He reminds us that His promises are true and we can count on them at any time in our life.
People continually wear their problems and shames and guilt with a veil that in time becomes a mask. At first, it’s thin and transparent but then it becomes thicker, forming into a false covering, a mask that removes the true identity of God’s creation.
The more time that goes on wearing the cover-up, the more mistakes in life that become hidden, true identity becomes lost, the real person- you. It is like false protection from the hurts and issues of your life that you don’t want to face in yourself are trying to be covered up.
Looking into the mirror, the veil or mask you wear is hiding your face… when it’s not removed, unfortunately, you can’t march onward as God intended. Your life becomes a masquerade not only to yourself but to the world.
False thinking says the cover-up is for your own protection but the truth is you begin to change your identity.
Wearing this false protection is like carrying a burden that is too heavy to carry on your own. Your heart wants to walk in true freedom, unveiled with unending joy as your heavenly Father intends for you, but you really can’t.
Lift off the veil or mask hiding your identity. Confess what you’re hiding. Be real in Christ Jesus. Be transparent before Him and give Him every fear and anxious thought you hold on to, past, present, or future. Give all worries to Jesus.
Thoughts of your past and even your present circumstances are waiting to be healed by your Ultimate Healer who is Jesus Christ.
No more hiding, no more shame. Let go of it. Walk into the freedom that only God can give when you allow Him to reveal the true you!
When the true you emerges, so does the joy and freedom God intends for your life.
God is ready to take you into the entire realm of freedom He has for you, without holding back. He doesn’t want you wearing a cover-up. The real you is about to emerge with greatness. Believe this! Tell yourself this very thing in a scripture declaration. God is happy with His masterpiece creation in YOU.

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds! (Psalm 147:3)
