EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
How bad is a liar in your mind? Do you see that there is any room for a liar in this world?
Several Bible verses address the lies of the enemy! God’s word emphasizes the devil’s deceptive nature and encourages us as believers not to partake in any type of lying. We are to rely on God’s truth.
The devil is a liar and the father of lies! (John 8:44)”You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him.”
Other passages, like 1 John 3:1 and 1 John 5:4, highlight the importance of faith in God and resisting the devil’s deception.
Psalms 54:5:
This verse speaks to the lies enemies spread about the psalmist, but also reveals a reliance on God’s protection and ultimately, a request for justice.
1 John 3:1:
This verse reminds us that we are children of God, highlighting His love and urging us not to believe the lies of the enemy. No matter how they are heaped upon you. FIGHT THE LIAR!
1 John 5:4:
Tells us our power of faith in Christ and how it overcomes the world, including the lies and influence of the enemy. Hold this scripture for help in trouble.
God’s word speaks to the deceptive nature of enemies and the importance of discerning truth from falsehood. Look to God and call for discernment, reliance on God’s truth, and resistance against the enemy’s deceptive schemes. The devil is a liar!
