EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
How many of us know the putrid stench of walking past a dead animal decaying? We run, trying to escape while covering our noses, escaping the horrid smell, it’s the worst.
Scripture describes the enemy as a liar. He’s an accuser and the source of confusion for each of us as believers! Every time he opens his mouth and gets to you, his stink fills the air. It encompasses “your being”, like the smell that gets stuck inside your nostrils that you can’t get rid of it!
“You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him.” (John 8:44)
This verse, spoken by Jesus, accuses his opponents, particularly the Pharisees, of being children of the devil and of pursuing their father’s desires, which are not aligned with truth.
Oh, but you can get rid of him!
Don’t allow him to permeate you or stay in front of you speaking lies, filth and defeat. Run and run fast, as fast as you can, to the Word of God. Get away from that smell.
God’s mercies are new every day! GOD has the fresh aroma of truth in His glorious, fragrant word of encouragement. Believe God’s word, cuddle up to His truth over your life, feel His presence, and smell the goodness of His promises. Ladies, stay saturated in His word so the sweet smell of His fragrance envelops you wherever you go!
