EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:

The new year brings a bittersweet time of memories and reflection, some good, some not so good. We can have joy and gladness as in times gone by because everything is working out just perfectly for us, or we can have sorrow as we miss the memory of times that were once good and seemed almost perfect, but then time changed everything.

No matter what the situation is in your life right this moment, God is always faithful. He never changes.
As I reflect on my memories of certain loved ones who are no longer in my life, my heart can be sad—that is if I “choose” to dwell in it. I can not change what is, but I can look to God and His Word and ask Him to bring comfort whenever I need it.

“Deep in your hearts, you know that the Lord has kept every promise he ever made to you. Not one of them has been broken.” (Joshua 23:14)

For this year, the things that I want personally may not come to pass, and it has to be okay for now. But I must remember that God’s promises are true, He doesn’t go back on His Word, and things will not always look the way they might look at this present moment to me. You may or may not be experiencing something like this in your own life.

If you are, remember this one thing. God protects you always. He protects me and my heart, too. He protects us with hope in His promises. God’s promises are true to you as you read His living Word! And He will protect you, comfort you and guide you onward with His promises. Please grasp this encouragement!!! It’s for both of us. ❤️

“THE FAITHFUL LOVE OF THE LORD NEVER ENDS! HIS MERCY’S NEVER CEASE! GREAT IS HIS FAITHFULNESS; HIS MERCIES BEGIN AFRESH EACH MORNING.” (Lamentations 3:22-23)

“No matter how many promises God has made, they are “yes” in Christ. And so through him the “amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.” (2 Corinthians1:20)

It doesn’t matter what you or I are going through right now or what memories we are dwelling on because God is faithful to come through for us in our time of need. He is here, and He is there right now.

Whether you need joy in your heart or whether you need something to just get you through this season, trust in God for it! Read His scriptures and let them speak to your heart. Hold them tight.

“My God will supply every need according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)
