EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Many of us have husbands and many of us have godly male friends and understand the importance of them in our lives.
Friends of our men can make a difference in their lives and especially if they are men who walk with God. It does make a difference if they have the right influence.
“As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend”. (Proverbs 27:7)
We as women, see the value of good womanly influence in our lives and need to be mindful to pray for this same thing over our husband’s lives. Even if they do not know Jesus yet, godly friends in their company can be the tool God uses to bring them to a relationship in Christ if they don’t have one.
Often men have fewer close friends than we do as women because of the way their time is and because they are mainly consumed with careers and work. They don’t take the necessary steps to develop close relationships like we do. It tends to be more surface friendships.
This is why we as women who love our men should pray for this. God is more than able to put strong Christian friends in your man’s life.
Prayer is vital.
You need to be a warrior on his behalf. Pray over ALL your husband’s friends and close relationships, this will prove significant in their lives to walk closer to Jesus.
Just as we have Women World Leaders and we offer resources of help and connection with women to grow in Jesus, there is a group of men across the nation as well that can help. They meet in various locations, gathering together for “boot camps” as well as have smaller groups to encourage individually. It’s called Band of Brothers. If you’d like to hear more about it gorgeous your husband or friend, my husband is a leader in this group and we’d be happy to give you further information that could help your man develop some strong  Christian relationships.
Also, there is a FB group for men called United Men of Honor, try looking it up and telling your man about it…
Meanwhile, please begin with consistency and pray for opportunity on behalf of your men. Saved or unsaved, if your man needs great friendships where he can thrive, these groups are phenomenal to break down walls and allow one another to be real men together and seek God.
Proverbs 27:7
Iron sharpens iron!
Pray that God gives our men the discernment to separate themselves from anyone who will not be a good influence. (1 Cor. 5:13). Our prayers have power through Jesus to help.
