EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Galatians 5:1
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.”
There are many things we are intimidated by because we fear failure or not meeting up to people’s standards. What should we be afraid of if we know that God is by our side, ready to equip us with what we need to succeed?
We just need to be willing vessels with the courage to stand strong and proclaim the Word of God. His truth will speak for itself and touch the hearts of those with open minds and hearts.
God has prepared what you will say and has chosen those who will hear it. Don’t fear what has not happened. In Joyce Myer’s Book “Do It Afraid,” she states, “I believe fear can make us shake and sweat, make our hearts beat faster, interrupt our normal breathing, and provoke our physical symptoms. But we can manage these sensations realistically if we remember they are just feelings.”
The fear of something bad happening is usually worse than actually dealing with a situation that threatens us. Remember: Fear holds us back and prevents us from making progress in our lives. Step forward out of the fearful state that keeps you paralyzed into a fresh, courageous bounty awaiting you from God.
