How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord Almighty! My soul yearns even faints, for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.”
It’s always in our desperate cry for God that He shines brightest and reveals to us the ultimate power He has. It is that power paired with the love He has for us which demands attention and rightfully so. There is no other love that can pierce our hearts as intensely as His does.
Caught in the aftermath of our bleeding heart, we thirst for a Father who is in accord with our needs and who doesn’t hesitate to recover the fallen pieces to make us whole again, whole in the sense that we recognize that with God all things are possible and all the circumstances that challenge our sanity can be overcome! How? By relying on a Father who is dedicated to teaching and accepting His truth as sound advice.
God’s truth will encourage our hearts and allow us to live out the hope that He promises. His is the Word that, with time, will bring an understanding of the journey He has us on. It is a clear picture of what our purpose is. For we are not here on earth to shine on our own merits but to be thankful in how God works through us.
Your presence, Lord, is all that matters, for it is our weapon against any attempt to distract, pull us away, or tempt us from being under Your direct guidance.
God keeps us strong against the manipulation of this world, and for that, we should be deeply grateful. ❤️
