EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
“Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom shall I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us? “I said, “Here I am. Send me”
(Isiah 6:8)
Many times we go through life, and if you are like me, I sometimes find myself quickly asking God to serve me, my family, or my friends…I would catch myself when I became aware of how often I did it. Now, conscientiously I make an effort to pay attention. I told God I wanted to start asking Him how can I serve You, God?
We hear people constantly ask us,  “could you pray for…?”  And we surely answer, yes, absolutely I will pray. And that’s ok, as it’s a privilege and honor to pause and pray for others. But on our own personal note, instead of constantly asking God to guide us, provide help for us, ask for a miracle, find us a job,… help us, help us, help us,… we shouldn’t stop there as the end all and be all to our prayer time.
I love that I have formed a morning portion of my prayer to share my heart with God by saying, “God, will you please use me today in whatever way YOU want  to further Your kingdom?”
Yes! It has become part of my daily prayer to ask Him how I can serve Him instead of Him serving me each morning before I even get out of bed.
God should hear from us directly, verbally, that we are available to Him, on call, for whatever task may be ahead. God has called you, He IS calling you. You will be amazed at how you will be used by Your Creator on a daily basis when you are surrendered to Him for His use by telling Him so in prayer.
