“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.”
Blessed are the pure in heart�.
It’s not about what other people see, but it is the inward soul- it is what God sees alone. The Heart.
We can never clean up our own hearts enough to be acceptable in God’s eyes – that is why we needed Jesus. This is our message. The only ones who will ever enter the Kingdom of Heaven will be the Pure in heart.
The pure in heart.
To be pure in heart is to Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.
For they shall see God.
This is the promise attached to this both now and future. Jesus said that the pure in heart shall see God – this is a promise that is partially fulfilled here and now and will be complete in heaven in Jesus.
We’ll see the blazing glory of the light of God in eternal splendor in Jesus Christ.
We can only imagine what that day will be like when we open our eyes to this light.
