EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
All over the New Testament, there are women doing ministry. One thing that continues to jump out at me is women-to-women ministry.
All over God’s Word, we see examples of older women teaching younger women. Teaching what is good, training, and correcting. Teaching them to love their husbands and children and to live upright lives. (Titus 2:3-5)
Ladies, if you’re older, consider being a mentor in the life of someone younger. Pour into them “Godly wisdom” for their lives. They need you!
This ministry continues to connect older women and younger women who have grown to love each other and learn from each other. It’s beautiful.
And you that are younger, give respect to those older than you. I encourage you to find a spiritual “mom” that is willing to talk with you consistently and allow her to pour in her years of knowledge and training to you. Trust God that He will provide for you that older woman to glean from and ask her. Simply ask her to help you. It’s not difficult. It will bless you and her.
We will never stop learning until we die. Please, look to the older ones and see the value God has on them to teach us, train us, and love us as God has called them to do.
