EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Many of us, as believers and Christ followers, including myself, have disruptions occur in our lives. We don’t want it, we don’t like it or plan for it, we don’t anticipate it, it just happens.
Searching for a solution whenever this shows up is what seems to be next on hand to do. We all want quick resolve. How do we search for the right solution? (God)?… And point others ultimately to find God for their resolve?
Oftentimes, searching for God comes when someone faces a situation in which they have no control. The closer the crisis is, the more intense the search for God becomes. We have just seen this very clear movement happen in the moment a young man of God was taken from this earth a few weeks ago.
To resolve the disruption going on, it can take some of us on a journey we may not have been anticipating. Let’s pray the movement happening always involves seeking God first…afterall, it is where we MUST begin. This is what the Bible instructs:
(Matthew 6:33), “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness”…
Then comes becoming the right person, filled with the right kind of love, Jesus’ love. When we grasp hold to Him first, watch your own life transform before you. You will begin seeing something special emerge that others will want to be part of and admire. They will know we are Christ followers by our love and speaking truth, always.
Then we take others on the same journey with us. Just as Christ said, “follow me” to His disciples, we should bring others on the journey to follow Jesus with us. How can YOU do this?
It all begins with Matthew 6:33, “seeking FIRST the kingdom of God,” and then watch the disruption you are experiencing dissipate before your eyes. You, too, can be the leader God has called you to be. Disruption falls by the wayside as you seek – God – first.
