EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Micah 6:8 “He has shown you, O Mortal, what is good and what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
What does the Lord require of us? God has grabbed at your heartstrings; drawn you in and touched you in such a powerful emotional way, and, courageously, you’ve stepped forward, accepting His grace and making the commitment to follow Him. What now?
Submission unto the Lord is your first step to wanting a change, knowing that the dark valley you’ve traveled on has no promise, no hope and no destination. You anxiously grasp for the one hope that’s been extended, and for the first time, you innocently pray for direction and for someone to show you the way and how to live in obedience.
God is there to be your guide.
Your first step is to focus on the Lord and try not to focus on the problem that brought you to the Lord. Live for Him! Do what He would have you do by reading His verses one line at a time and staying in contact with the people who led you to the Lord.
His grace, love, comfort, knowledge and forgiveness will carry you through the difficult and challenging times. You can’t find answers to in your own strength, so release to His strength and let it fill you with an assurance and hope that will come beyond what you can’t understand. Only the Lord can provide it in order for you to find your way.
