EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE

Being dependent on the God who loves us most means to trust in His guidance, strength, and provision in all areas of our lives. It does not mean we should be independent, relying solely on ourselves or external factors to aid us.

Dependent on God involves surrendering to His will, seeking His wisdom, and acknowledging His sovereignty.

Prayer and seeking His presence means we should communicate with God regularly! Try to make a habit of talking to God through prayer, both in times of need and times of abundance.
Spend time in His Word and read and reflect on Scripture, which provides guidance for each of us, and it also reveals God’s character and will.

We should seek His will, pray for discernment, and ask God to reveal His plan for your life and specific situations. Doing so and making it a habit brings us to depend on Him more and more.

Trust God even when you don’t understand and recognize that God’s plans are often greater than your own and that He has your best interests at heart. Have faith in His promises because they are true. Believe that God will keep His promises to you, both in big and small ways. Trust in His goodness and mercy even in challenging circumstances, and believe that God is working for your good.

I had to let go of pride and self-reliance, acknowledging my limitations and dependence on God’s power and wisdom. What a complete difference this has made in my life. I pray this for you. Become dependent on God!

And remember, it’s not all about you or me; let us support and encourage others who share our faith and help them strengthen their dependence on God as well.
