EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:

Are we living in a time of escalating fear? It seems not all fear is bad, but fear is surrounding us. Being afraid of something is not wrong. But when we harbor fear, entertain it and let it grow inside of us, it’s a problem.

Fearing God, for instance, is a good fear. A good, healthy fear will cause us to do healthy, productive things.

“God did not give us a Spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self discipline.” (2 Timothy 1:7)

Don’t allow destructive fear to take over. We experience enough of it every day as we watch the news and witness crisis after crisis. People’s fear often overtakes their actions. We, as women leaders, must take our fears to the Lord in prayer.

Let God set you free by the power of His Holy Spirit within you. When you do this, I promise He will rescue you from the torment that surrounds you because of the fear that binds you! You will be surrounded with God’s love when you pray your heart to Him in that moment.

God will keep your mind sound and give you perfect peace if it is stayed on Him..

“You will keep in perfect peace, him whose mind is fixed on God.” (Isaiah 26:3)

The most important thing we can do when we feel afraid is to call upon God and ask Him to protect us and free us from what we are fearing. Ask. Ask. Ask.

“Fight the good fight” in prayer. (1 Tim. 6:12)
Allow God the entrance in your heart to keep you in peace through this war that is raging. Cast fear out, in the Name of Jesus.
