Thinking and using brain power is something each of us do on a daily basis if we are alive. I Googled a question. How many thoughts does the average person have in a day?
Good thoughts, bad thoughts, happy thoughts sad thoughts, worry thoughts, refreshing thoughts, the average person thinks over 6,000 thoughts in a day, based on a 2021 study.
“…take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. ” (Ephesians 6:17)
Our minds need protection. We need a helmet. The helmet of salvation is our protection which begins with Christ. Why? Because He is our salvation.
By beginning a relationship with Jesus and accepting His invitation we experience His presence with us. We read the Word and begin to think like He thinks and align our thoughts to His.
The Bible tells us to “take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” (2 Corinthians 10:5)
As we think and grow closer in our relationship with Christ, we have choices to make. God’s Word says in
Philippians 4:8
” Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
Choose today to take your thoughts captive to the mind of Christ. Think on good things. Spend time with Jesus and be in His Word. Allow His thoughts to become your thoughts and wait and see how your day unfolds!
In Jesus’ Name, claim your thoughts this day! Think on the scriptures quoted above and store them in your mind and follow God’s instruction to us.
 No stinkin thinkin today!!!!
