EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Try not to get caught up with worrying about “how you pray” during difficult times, and please don’t lose sight of talking with God at any opportunity that presents itself. God loves us and wants to hear from us.
“Others” may be longing to be prayed over and may be waiting for you to come along and pray for them, or they may just need a certain message that may come about through your outspoken prayer over them.
There are people who need your willingness to pray with them for their comfort, for healing, and also to provide hearing your words to God. This can be a beautiful testimony in itself as you speak out to God through prayer.
Try not to lose sight of the One whom you are praying to. Who God is when you approach Him will be a lasting memory in prayer with another.
We all need to pay attention to our prayers and how we communicate with our Almighty God, remembering He is a Holy God.
God is definitely our Compassionate Creator who desires to hear from us at any time and will answer us but let us patiently wait reverently and respectfully, understanding He is the One in control.
When we pray openly with others~ our words to God are heard, and they become a testimony and witness to a relationship with Jesus that the other person may need!
Also, think about this, if we “aren’t” talking to God and decide to go after important things for ourselves, like having our own agendas, we ignore the needs of others, and we are no longer pursuing God or offering help to those in need. We don’t only break God’s laws during these times of selfishness; we break His heart.
Thankfully God has an endless commitment to us, nothing will stop Him from loving us or pursuing us, but that doesn’t mean we make the excuse to be “selfish” and remain silent when we have opportunities to pray over others.
Remember this; God never calls perfect people. Nor does He look to “hear” from “perfect people” God calls flawed, weak ones, just like us. We are some of His best messengers, ministers, prophets, and leaders. He wants to hear from us! We can do this through our prayer over others through times of uncertainty. We call ourselves Women World Leaders for a reason. We are led by a Holy God to help lead others to find Him~ encourage them, and help them find their God-given purpose. He gave us Jesus as our example as we lead others closer to Him. People are watching and listening to YOU through these times.
Are you offering to pray with them, and are you praying with reverence?
Prayerfully ask God to direct your every step through the difficult time you face. Be willing to pray with anyone. Ask God to use you in this mighty way through prayer. He is the God of the galaxies. He can and will most definitely provide a response to your prayers when you step out in faith and pray with someone else together.
