EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:

Waiting on God is much more difficult than walking and moving about serving Him. Waiting requires patience, and patience is a rare virtue.

In the days before WWL’S,  I had many different times where ideas flooded in and   where I sought to serve my Lord. I was seeking God in my actions and praying continously while longing for results that didn’t seem to happen in my timing. I thought of many ways I desired to be used by God, but I found myself in the waiting. I was in the learning process.

It’s interesting how it took years of waiting and praying, and just when I thought I was ready, bam, I was in another learning phase. I continued obediently, surrendering my heart before God, and I put my mind and body together with my purpose and then layed it on the altar before God.

I learned that with God, I had peace and relief knowing that He built hedges around me. God does this for His people. Are you His? Count yourself in if you are a daughter of the King, and you can look with confidence at your hedge from an aspect of protection.

When we aren’t yet ready for the purpose He has ahead of us, we need to “be still” and know God is God. He has a plan for you. You need to be patient and just keep doing the work.

Often times, we see the hedge growing higher and higher, and we then get to the place where we no longer can see over it.  We wonder if we will ever get out of our “little” sphere of influence. We might think this is just a minimal service wherever you are at the moment, but be wise and know God is using you right where you are!

Never forget, your service of any kind is most precious to the Lord. Although we may begin to feel confined, stay the course and be patient.

Sometimes it’s hard for any of us to understand why we do not have a larger area of service? It becomes difficult for us to “brighten our corner wherever we are.”

I encourage you with this…God absolutely has a purpose in all of His delays. God’s delays are not His denials. The delays may require some patience from us, and that should be okay with us. God’s timing is the right timing!

“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord” KJV (Psalm 37:23)

God invests in you because He intends to use you greatly. Please remember this: Every day you seek Him and look to Him in your walk, you will find Him! Find him daily in how your serving Him; it’s the greatest joy you’ll ever have.

Sometimes, there can be days when we must wait for instruction to come to us. It does not always mean His delays are His denials! Wait patiently on the Lord. Psalm 27:14.

Learn to wait without anxiously grasping on God as you serve Him wholeheartedly.  He has so much in store for you. You are promised a life of abundance when you walk in complete obedience to His Word; please remember this.
