EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Many of you who know me on a personal level understand I value wisdom, James 1:5 wisdom, the wisdom God gives to us when we ask Him for it.
We can’t be certain we are making the proper decisions as we travel through each day unless we have the gifts of wisdom, revelation and discernment along with an ear turned to God’s voice.
The ONLY way to secure any of these things is to seek God for them. The bible clearly tells us:
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” (James 1:5)
More times than you may even realize, this verse may save your life. Please memorize it. You need God’s gift to you of the wisdom He so generously offers for the “asking of it.” Allow Him to give you clarity on important decisions, use His Godly wisdom, not your own thoughts of what you think is right. Please ask God for this gift if you have not already done so.
I prayed and began praying James 1:5 over my life, each day, for well over a decade of years! I vowed for a certain length of time not to miss a day praying this verse over my life. And I have not yet stopped, and I won’t. I didn’t want to continue making wrong choices! Guess what, God’s Word is Truth. He answered my prayer just as He said, and He’s given generously to me over and over again, and He will do it for any of us who ask for it.
If you desire God to bless your life, allow His Godly wisdom to take over, but you personally must ask Him for it.
