EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Is there some kind of change leaving you feeling a bit unsettled today? I encourage you to see God in the change. Find Him in what is changing. He is there, waiting for you to seek Him through it.
Some of us don’t like change, I for one have to grapple with it and it seems just when I get settled into a routine, something is rocked. I find myself wondering, what will happen next? Then, there I sit… I’m not liking the new normal. Ugh.
Whatever move we face, or change of scenery is upon us, or maybe a loss of a person in our life, a change of job, or maybe a new church home, God promises to be a constant traveling companion with us. He takes us into the new order of things around us if we allow Him to guide us.
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned.” (Isaiah 43:2)
We can never truly know what is around the next corner. The beauty of the question is when we trust God and seek Him in every change of our lives, we can be pleasantly surprised. He is always working! (Proverbs 3:5-6) We can be assured that God promises to greet us in the new normal. He will never leave us or forsake us.
