EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
God’s Word is dynamic (alive and powerful!) Every day we live, we can read a scripture verse that means something to our hearts in one way, yet months from now, we come across the same scripture verse and have it mean something else to us in a powerful way. “It’s alive,” God says!
Each of us needs to ask the Holy Spirit to reveal what He will in our specific circumstances as we read scripture. He will empower us to be blessed by whatever we read, guaranteed!
God has promises proclaimed over your life. He has a miracle inside your mouth, just waiting to be spoken out.
Please allow me to share; I once lacked the confidence that I’d understand reading the scriptures until I began to talk to God about His Word every day before I read them. I can not tell you how “alive” His Words came to me. He breathed life into my soul through them. Every day, I can hardly contain the joy that comes from reading such powerful things He has waiting just for me on any given day!
As King David wrote: “O God; give ear to the words of my mouth” (Psalm 54:2) and “I cried out to Him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue.” (Psalm 66:17)
Memorize scripture; God’s word is sharp. “Your Word have I hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You.” (Psalm 119:11)
Whenever I get off track in any way, shape, or form, the treasured and memorized scripture I have held in my heart comes right to mind through the power of the Holy Spirit “alive” in me. It’s truly amazing.
