EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
The devil seeks to isolate us all, convincing us that being alone is our path to peace. Peace and quiet, but we can’t fall for this lie that isolation for quietness and peace is what we seek, ever!
While moments of solitude with Christ alone can strengthen our faith, God never intended for us to live alone . Getting alone with Him, of course, can be a true source of peace. But the enemy rudely deceives us into thinking that solitude is the answer, free from disappointment and unregulated emotions. How false is this? We have to understand God’s plan for us, and it’s not to be alone.
“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12)
Stress from social isolation and loneliness is normal. It reminds us of our relational nature and design—that God created us in His own image. In Christ, we need to remember that we are never alone. God is present, and we always have an audience. He knew exactly what He was doing when He told us we shouldn’t be alone.
