EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
God is always present and wanting a relationship with us; however, some of us have major blocks for Him to enter in.
It is possible the reason we don’t allow God in is some of us build walls around our hearts and our minds in order to protect ourselves. They become higher, wider, and thicker as time goes on. What can penetrate your wall? How thick has it become over time? Have you even realized a wall is present in your life? The enemy builds these walls to block your path.
God does not want you to have walls around your heart or your mind. Your heart and your thoughts belong to Him. God can reach your heart by touching it in various ways. Through people, through scripture, and through the power of the Holy Spirit at work are some of the ways God can reach us. God can demolish any stronghold of the mind that blocks His entrance to come in. God wants those walls removed, and He gives you a choice. Do you trust Him, or are you trusting yourself?
Think about this…when you act upon something that comes into your life, do you consider what God may think about it first, or do you go right into action and respond on impulse?
Any protective barricades that were put to protect yourself need to come down. This way, your “True Deliverer” has free entry to come in. He knows where you are and what you face. Give your every fear over to God. Don’t allow your walls of doubt to keep out the great things God has in store for you in the future. Tear down your wall in Jesus’ Name!
Listen to this verse. Let it penetrate those walls of hurt you have built.
“Can’t you see? I have carved your name on the palms of my hands! Your walls are always my concern”. (Isaiah 49:16)
