See Yourself Through God’s Eyes
“Your eyes are windows into your body. If you open your eyes wide in wonder and belief, your body fills up with light.” Matthew 6:22
Each of us is special. We are rare, one-of-a-kind, precious women. We all have a God-given purpose to accomplish.
That’s right… He chose You!
To live out this purpose we must see ourselves the way God sees us. This is not always easy to do. The world’s filter will try to convince us that we can never measure up. Leaving us empty every single time. The world’s filter is built on immediate gratification and living for present pleasures. But if we lose the meaning of eternity and fail to see life and ourselves through God’s perspective, we lose everything important from God’s point of view.
The truth is that we are being prepared for eternity. God is building character within us that will last forever. He is most concerned about our character and heart. We will certainly fall at times, but God knew that and He still chose you! You are special!
Do not believe the lies.
The enemy wants us to only see our flesh, our faults, and our failures, leaving us miserable, lonely, anxious, and depressed. Leaving us feeling…
Not good enough.
Defeated!
HAVE CONFIDENCE~
God-confidence. Be brave.
Know where your
strength/power/worth
comes from.
The Apostle Paul calls it seeing with the eyes of your heart. Seeing from God’s perspective. In fact, Paul prays this prayer for us in Ephesians, “I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance and in His incomparable great power for us who believe.”
When we truly believe that we are a child of God it changes our lives. It changes everything!
All the pain, anxiety, depression, and all wounds and hurts/rejections we had through this life will be eliminated by the power of God’s love. And no longer can the enemy diminish our sense of dignity because we believe in who God says we are. We see ourselves through God’s eyes.
“I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”
(Philippians 4:13)
God wants us to walk in courage/knowledge and truth. Boldly knowing and believing exactly who you are in Christ.
Knowing that you are the daughter of a true king.
Trusting that He has hand-picked you for this great assignment.
You got this. You are a precious jewel and you are going to change the world.
Learn to love yourself just as He loves you. See yourself through the eyes of your loving God.
“You are the one who put me together inside my mother’s body, and I praise you because of the wonderful way you created me. Everything you do is marvelous! Of this, I have no doubt.” (Psalm 139:13-14)
