EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Do you ever bring different opportunities before the Lord and ask for His direction? I do, and more often than not, He seems to direct me forward, to take on even more than I think I can because He gives me direction. I put His nudge of commitments over my personal inclinations not to. God gives me confidence.
Each time I step up and move forward in utter faith, He meets me, strengthens me, shows up, and works wonders through me. Please don’t take this as boastful; it’s not meant for that, but just to share that God is at work when we ask Him to help and guide us.
Just when I thought I had my whole personal thing figured out, He blew it to smithereens and showed me more. So much more! God’s plans are always the best ones. One way or another, I had to learn to trust Him more than my past experiences or gut would ever allow, and even more than my wisely gained logic would see.
“When your heart is tired and your spirit worn, remember, God is your rest. He will renew your strength and carry you through the storm.” (Isaiah 40:29)
God parts the waters whenever we need Him to. He provides strength when we need it. He opens doors for us in many ways when we ask to. He helps us when we meet with people or when we need them in our lives for help. He supplies all of our needs according to His riches in glory. God changes lives. He has a plan.
Please don’t get distracted, enjoy the wind at your back! Don’t get tangled up in the affairs of this world. Involve yourself in God’s best for your life, and don’t involve yourself in time sucking commitments. Remember to ask God for what’s important in His eyes, and what is your next? Don’t loosen your grip on the Almighty just because you’re not aware of your desperate need for Him. Cling to Him and His promises for your life, always.
Run your appointed race during the special time of favor God has for you in this life. Always go before your heavenly Father for advice. Give what you have, and God will do what He does.
