One of the biggest obstacles faced in prayer life is discouragement, and when it hits, one can be completely without any courage to move. You do not need to stand alone through these times.
We can see this in a broken marriage, a family member who won’t speak to us for whatever reason, a rebellious child who doesn’t hear you, a chronic illness that doesn’t leave your mind or body, large debt, and the list goes on. Long-term problems that tempt us make us wonder-“Why?” What’s the use? How many times do we throw our hands up in the air and just say, forget it…or forget them…

Truth: We can find our encouragement in the Lord!!! Please, don’t ever give up.
The more we are attracted to our Lord and Savior, the less we will focus on discouragement by other things we can’t control. God is in control. We need to understand it, know it, and believe it. He has our backs and how thankful we should be.
Let’s get busy and stay focused…why? Because the Lord is coming! This is a statement to recite to ourselves daily.
Pray with excitement each day. The Lord will take care of you!
