I have to stand strong in the sentence I just wrote, because the enemy wants to plague my head with other thoughts and stop me from making such a statement. He wants me to believe my prayers do not matter when I don’t see results quickly. My prayers matter! Your prayers to God matter! The prayers of any Christ-follower crying out to our Lord and Savior matter!!!
I may no longer be able to tell my adult children what I want them to do, but I can sure tell the enemy what to do! He does NOT have the power to take my children away!!! He does NOT have the ability to take your children away- small or adult children, it doesn’t matter- you have a weapon of victory!
You can tell that enemy what he CAN’T do with your children! You have a covering over them with your prayers!
What we can do this moment is tell God everything on our hearts regarding our kids. ASK Him to move in your their lives. If you see things developing in your small child that concerns you- pray! Do something!
Prayer is a POWERFUL connection between us, God, our young children, and adult children alike. Please, believe with all your heart they will experience the effects of your prayers as you pray them to the Lord! Watch God work. He is on the move constantly. He is just waiting for you to come to Him with your needs so He can move on your behalf.
Your children are worth every prayer you will ever pray over them, now and until you die or they do! Your prayers are vital.
No matter how many times you cry to God, our God is faithful. Pray for your children. God moves in His time and with what He knows to be good. He knows the WHOLE story and what you do not see. God is eternal, He is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. God is faithful.
