EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE
So many of us hide from God when life swirls by and feels like it’s swallowing us whole. When we are drowning in our sorrow, it can sometimes be so deep that we feel no one will understand.
Don’t run away from God at these times! If it be that we’ve sinned, please understand that He already knows. Maybe we lie about our pain, when we don’t understand God’s ways; please don’t turn away at these times. Run to Him. And be honest about what you’re going through.
We need to understand that our God is powerful and that our God can rescue us. God will speak to you! He went to the cross for each of you, didn’t He?
When I finally hit my bottom and felt as if I completely let God down (and I did because of sin), God touched my heart with strong encouragement and a powerful message of love and forgiveness. It came to me right when God knew I’d listen.
“When I came to you, why was no one there? When I called, why did no one answer? Am I powerless to rescue you or too weak to deliver you?” (Isaiah 50:2)
God reaches out to rescue us, and we must embrace His truth with love when we hear it. Give Him your doubts, ask Him your questions, and give Him your fears. He waits with open arms for your heart, and He will help you!
