EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Learning to accept ourselves and entrust our being to Jesus with every part of our bodies can be difficult for some of us who have insecurity issues. Limitations in our own minds can be crippling.
My shortcomings had a way of shutting me down from moving forward in my life with my natural gifting given by God. I didn’t see it. I wasted many years toiling in my doubts about myself.
People react differently to their own insecurities. Sometimes they overcompensate and behave in their weaknesses by blaming others. This way it takes the focus off themselves. Sometimes they play cover-up and create stories and make excuses for themselves. No matter what your bend, Jesus wants to help you. He invites you to release your doubts about yourselves and let go of your shame, then rest in Him.
Jesus wants all of our insecurities to be released in His love.
Sometimes we strive to stop acting a certain way but when we fail, we give up short and don’t ever visit the places that are raw and need love and healing. Instead, we cover them up and quickly move on.
Visiting the places of hurt and failure within ourselves and giving them over to God 100% allows Him to be our judge and jury once and for all.
There is no one else I’d rather have than Jesus Christ who can forgive me completely and love me unconditionally. He restores me to perfection in His Name.
Our shortcomings and mess-ups go away when Jesus takes them and He covers them with His blood shed for us on the cross.
You are enough! You pray enough, you love enough, you give enough, and you serve enough. When Jesus is in control, all these things you do for His honor and glory ARE enough.
Realize the depth of love and forgiveness your Savior has for you and accept yourself and your body with how you were created.
You were created by God. Unfortunately, we all tend to put limitations on ourselves in different ways. With God who is limitless, He becomes our source of help in our weaknesses.
“For you are God’s masterpiece, created a new in Christ Jesus, to do the very good things he planned for you long ago.” ( Ephesians 2:10)
Be excited, with God you can do anything!
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13)
