VOICE OF TRUTH FOR TODAY
Come, Lord, Come

Lord, I went for a walk on Your planet this morning.

Something felt different.

I noticed the shape of the clouds and the deep shade of blue in the sky. The birds were singing, and the flowers seemed more vibrant than usual. Your creation was alive with beauty.
Yet at the same time, the world feels heavy.
Violence rages. Children are hurting. Families are torn apart. Wars continue. Disease, devastation, and uncertainty seem to surround us.

Many people say they hope life will simply return to “normal.”
But my heart longs for something different.

Come, Lord, come.

Come into our hearts, our minds, and our ways. Whisper truth into the ears of the young and awaken the hearts of Your people. Remind us that we are created in Your image and called to reflect Your love to the world.

Scripture reminds us of the prayer Jesus taught us:
“Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10)

Lord, let Your Spirit move swiftly across this earth. Stir hearts to repentance, renewal, and revival. Let our generation rise with compassion and kindness. Teach us to smile more, serve more, pray more, and surrender fully to Your Word and Your ways.
Help us care for one another with deeper love and humility.

Our days on this earth are numbered, yet every moment matters. May we become the people You created us to be—living reflections of Your grace.

Even when darkness seems overwhelming, You remain our light.
“The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?” (Psalm 27:1)
So we wait.
We pray. We trust. Come, Lord. Come.
