Is This It?
Have you ever wondered what you are meant to do with your life?
Even after years of ministry, marriage, raising children, and serving God faithfully, I sometimes found myself asking the same question: Is this it?
My life has been filled with both joy and challenges. One of our greatest blessings is our daughter with Down syndrome. Her journey has included heart surgery and multiple medical procedures, yet through it all we have seen God’s faithfulness again and again.
Over the years I have served in ministry, trained missionaries, and helped launch outreach efforts around the world. Still, I occasionally wondered if there was something more God wanted me to do.
Then something changed.
After my husband and I nearly lost our lives to COVID, God gave me a new perspective.
Suddenly I realized something powerful:
It was all part of His plan.
Every season, every challenge, every opportunity had been shaping the purpose God designed for my life.
Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us:
“For I know the plans I have for you… plans to give you hope and a future.”
God has a purpose for every life.
And when we look back, we often discover that He was guiding us all along.
