As a parent living without my children involved in my life, my heart is continually burdened for them. I tend to encourage others on this topic more often than not, because of what God has shown me through learning to wait on Him through prayer.
Those of us who are parents know our children better than anyone else. We know their hopes, fears, we share their tears, and we know their insecurities. We know their dreams, we know their gifts and we know their abilities. During the times we feel isolated from their life, don’t give up on what you know God is doing. You believe He is working, don’t you?
God gives us authority to pray for our children. It is the most important thing we can do as a parent. Some of us cannot be with our children for unknown reasons- but God can!  And you can TRUST He will be with them when you pray that He will.
Each time you intercede for your children, pray a blessing over them, and please pray for wisdom and discernment in the choices they make.
The enemy sets traps for them but we must pray that our children will reject evil. Pray hard. Your prayer is vital to move the hand of God over their lives.
Believe and trust with all your heart that God hears your prayers and will deliver your children back to you to worship together – in all the fullness God intended. You have hope, don’t lose hope!
Trust and have faith that God is watching over them. After all, they are His children first and He has trusted them to you for a period of time. Mistakes you made in the past or not, God is well aware of your situation and heart. Remember,  He works ALL things together for good!
With God, ALL things are possible.
“Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise Him again-my Savior and my God!” (Psalm 42:11)
He’s got you- He’s got me- and He has them!
God can always make a way where there seems to be no way. I personally hold true to the fact I will one day be sharing a triumphant victory story in Jesus with you one day. Please hold on to hope with me. We have a faithful God.
