EMPOWERING LIVES WITH PURPOSE:
Many of us feel our thoughts capture us and captivate us at moments and we can’t seem to put them out of our minds.
Thoughts may seem weighted and to some people, their thoughts may seem worthless. You can wonder “why am I even thinking these things?” The great news is regardless of what our thoughts are, God is hovering over our shoulders reading our every thought we have. The Bible says He “knows” our hearts.
Does this thought of God knowing your thoughts make you smile with happiness or do you cringe with embarrassment?
Let your thoughts be lovely and pure whether they be heavy or whether they feel worthless to you and no matter what you are thinking about, think on good things and dwell on those.
God is with you and He knows your every thought. He wants you to experience joy and let it permeate your being. He understands the longing of our human souls. Only God can fully satisfy your heart.
“Delight yourself in Me; let me become the Desire of your heart.” ( Psalm 37:4)
Daily as we think on many things, let us remember the God of the galaxies knows our every thought. He knows our heart. He wants to give you the deepest desires that only He can fill. Delight in Him today and think on the things above. God will direct your path to help you as you make Him your primary focus.
Finally, sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things. (Phil. 4:8)
