Peace
Sweet woman of God, today is a gift.
Before your feet even hit the floor this morning, you may have already felt the weight of responsibilities, unanswered questions, or unexpected challenges. Life has a way of pulling us into a sprint before we’ve even taken our first breath. But what if we approached today differently?
The world is constantly searching for peace. Some look for it in success, others in security or circumstances. Yet true peace has never been something we create—it is a gift we receive from God.
Scripture reminds us, “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You” (Isaiah 26:3, NIV).
I’ve learned that peace begins with where I choose to focus. When my attention stays fixed on my problems, anxiety grows. But when I intentionally turn my eyes toward the Lord, my heart begins to settle.
One of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves is time alone with God. Quiet moments in His presence. Time in His Word. Moments to simply be still and listen.
“Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10, NIV).
Gratitude also protects our hearts. It shifts our perspective from what we lack to the abundance God has already provided. Even in difficult seasons, His love remains constant, His promises remain true, and His presence never leaves us.
The world around us may continue to experience uncertainty, conflict, and hardship, but God’s peace is not dependent on our circumstances.
Today, choose to walk with purpose instead of panic.
Choose gratitude instead of fear.
And allow the peace of Christ to guard your heart as you trust Him one step at a time.
