VOICE OF TRUTH FOR TODAY
Never Let Go of Grace

From the outside, my childhood looked like the picture of a perfect Christian family.

I grew up in church, attended Christian schools, and accepted Jesus at a young age. But hidden beneath the surface was a painful secret. As a child, I experienced abuse that quietly shaped how I saw myself for years to come. I struggled with shame, low self-worth, and the belief that I could never truly be loved.

As I grew older, I searched for acceptance in all the wrong places. I married young, divorced, entered another abusive relationship, and found myself repeatedly trying to fill wounds that only God could heal.

Even in those broken seasons, God never left me.

Deuteronomy 31:6 became a lifeline: “Be strong and courageous… for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you” (NKJV).

As I pressed deeper into my relationship with Jesus, He began revealing something I had never fully understood.
Healing isn’t only physical.
Sometimes our deepest wounds live in our soul—our mind, our will, and our emotions.

Over time, God lovingly uncovered those hidden places and began restoring what had been broken for decades. Through His grace, I discovered my true identity—not in my past, my failures, or my pain, but as a deeply loved daughter of God.

Romans 5:8 reminds us, “While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

That truth changed everything for me.
Jesus has never stopped pursuing me.
And He will never stop pursuing you.
His grace is greater than your past, stronger than your shame, and powerful enough to heal even the deepest wounds.
