VOICE OF TRUTH FOR TODAY
Family Through Time
Family stories are powerful.
They connect generations, preserve memories, and remind us where we’ve come from. Whether through treasured photographs, favorite recipes, bedtime prayers, or stories shared around the dinner table, every family leaves a legacy.
My parents left one rooted in faith.
They taught us to love God, love others, pray faithfully, and trust the Lord through every season. Those simple lessons became treasures that continue shaping our family today.
Psalm 112:1-2 reminds us that those who delight in God’s commands leave a special heritage for their children.
What legacy are we passing down?
Beyond family traditions and history, God has given every believer an eternal legacy—His Word.
The Bible tells the stories of ordinary people who trusted an extraordinary God. Through their victories and failures, we learn about His faithfulness, mercy, and unchanging love.
Now it’s our turn. Our children and grandchildren are watching. They’re listening. They’re learning from the way we love, forgive, worship, and trust God. We don’t need perfect families to leave a godly legacy.
We simply need faithful hearts. Teach your family about Jesus. Pray together. Share His faithfulness. Tell the stories of what God has done.
Years from now, those moments may become the very foundation future generations stand upon.
A legacy centered on Christ is the greatest inheritance we could ever leave.
