VOICE OF TRUTH
God’s Perfect Timing

If there is one thing life has taught me, it’s that God’s timing rarely matches my timeline. I often want answers now, healing now, and breakthroughs now. But God’s work is rarely rushed.

Recovery taught me that true transformation takes time. It unfolds gradually, often in ways we cannot see or understand. During my years of addiction and recovery, I learned how deeply I craved immediate relief. Even after sobriety, I found myself seeking quick solutions, instant results, and immediate peace.

But God had something different in mind.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, “He has made everything beautiful in its time.”

Looking back, I can see that the seasons I viewed as delays were often seasons of preparation. God was strengthening my faith, teaching me surrender, and preparing me for what was ahead.

One of the greatest examples of this is Saul’s transformation into Paul. After his encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus, God didn’t instantly launch him into ministry. Instead, Saul spent three days blind, humbled, and waiting. Those days weren’t wasted. They were preparation for his purpose.
The same is true for us.

Maybe you’re waiting for healing, direction, restoration, or an answer to prayer. If so, remember that waiting is not wasted time. It is sacred space where God works behind the scenes.

Second Peter 3:9 reminds us that God is not slow in keeping His promises. He is patient and purposeful.

You don’t need to see the entire path ahead. You only need to take the next faithful step. God is never late. His plans are unfolding with precision, purpose, and love. Trust Him in the waiting. His timing is always perfect.
