VOICE OF TRUTH FOR TODAY
It started as a peaceful walk on the beach… but quickly turned into something unexpected.
As I passed a woman walking toward me, something felt off. At first, I brushed it aside—but when I encountered her again, it became clear that this was not a normal interaction.
I felt fear rise.
But in that moment, I did what I knew to do—I prayed. “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.” —Psalm 56:3 (ESV)
I began walking faster, praying for protection, reminding myself that I was not alone. “I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.” —Psalm 34:4 (ESV)
What struck me most wasn’t just the situation—but the reminder: Spiritual warfare is real. And yet… so is God’s presence.
“For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand… Fear not, I am the one who helps you.” —Isaiah 41:13 (ESV)
Even in unfamiliar, uncomfortable, or even frightening moments—we are covered. We are not walking alone.
We are held.
We are guided.
We are protected.
The fear of the Lord leads us into wisdom—not fear of circumstances. So the question becomes… Will we choose fear? Or will we choose trust?
Because even in the unknown—He is with us.
