VOICE OF TRUTH FOR TODAY
The Tale of Elpida

“See past messy. See past broken. See a miracle.”
That phrase has shaped my life—and inspired a story I want to share with you.
Elpida, whose name means hope, was a young fairy with broken wings, cast aside because she looked different. No one saw her value—until Queen Kimba did.
The queen didn’t see brokenness.
She saw beauty.

With compassion and kindness, she restored Elpida—mending her wings, giving her new garments, and most importantly, helping her see herself differently.
That moment changed everything.
Isn’t that what God does for us?
Scripture reminds us: “The Lord looks at the heart.” — 1 Samuel 16:7
God sees beyond our broken places. He sees who we were created to be.
And sometimes, He uses others to help us see it too.

Just like Elpida, many of us have felt overlooked, judged, or not enough.
But God whispers:
“I see you.”
And that changes everything.
