Happy Resurrection Day
RESURRECTION
Women of God, are you prepared to share the Easter story and the 100% truth about it today?
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the foundation of our faith. Without it (resurrection)… the belief in God’s saving grace through Jesus is destroyed.
We need to be able to share this truth.
As we celebrate Easter, or “Resurrection day with family or however you decide to observe it today, let’s remind those we love why the resurrection is so important.
Before the resurrection, we remember that Jesus suffered intensely, and we can also know He understands what it feels like to “endure pain”; we can’t even ever fathom the depths of His pain He suffered for our sin.
Jesus chose to be obedient to God even though He knew many wouldn’t understand His decision and that He’d lose His life for it. (We can learn from this that God has bigger plans for us, too~ more than just our momentary hurts.)
There is nothing God can’t conquer. He conquered death!!! He proved that with the resurrection.
When Jesus rose from the dead, He confirmed His identity to us as the Son of God and His work of atonement, redemption, reconciliation and salvation. The Resurrection of Jesus Christ was a real, literal, physical raising of His body after He had died! Yes, He arose from the grave.
It’s so important to remember, celebrate and also share why you have your Christ following faith and what you believe.
Jesus conquered the grave so that we can live forever with Him. We can also conquer life’s challenges through the shed blood of the Lamb. Jesus’ body did not stay in the tomb! Jesus went through all He did on the cross to raise up and conquer the tormentors of eternal hell, because He loves you.
True hope, healing and salvation are found only at the cross, and we remember God’s completed work today in the Resurrection of Jesus. He will complete His work in you, too.
Thank God for Resurrection Sunday, Easter. It’s not about going to the church building. It’s about your faith and the foundation of your faith! Nothing or no one can stop you from sharing and celebrating it.
A good read for you today would be, Matthew 28, the whole chapter. Its the Resurrection of Jesus.
